Yes I knew that there was a Wilson Clyde SHORES in Cartersville, in fact there were 2 because Clyde Sr had a son named Clyde Jr and I think Jr is the one married to Pauline GUINN but I am not sure and I was looking for someone who could confirm this. He was buried in Cartersville Cem, Cartersville, VA. OCCUPATION: Started "Shores Painting Business" CENSUS: 1930 Hamilton, Cumberland Co, VA Willy married Eva Belle DUNFORD, daughter of John H. DUNFORD and Kate B. MARION "Katie", on 11 Nov 1929. Eva was born about 1905 in Cumberland Co, VA. She died before 14 May 1974. They had the following children. 2 M i. Wilson Clyde SHORES Jr. GEN: Silver Anniverserary Held Mr and Mrs Wilson C. Shores, of Cartersville, celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary recently with a reception held at the home of their daughter, Mrs Raymond N. Lewis, also of Cartersville. Over 75 guests attended the reception held Mar 9. The event was given by the couple's nine children. Wilson had the following children: 3 F ii. Joan SHORES. Joan married SPEAS. Willy also married Virginia GUTHRIE on 4 Mar 1955.
