I know your message was written 7 years ago but I'm trying to find more info on my g-g-g-grandfather Richard Bosson, born 1830/1/2 in Haslington and think this may be the same one as yours. I am trying to trace his birth. Info on his wedding to Elizabeth Lewis which I have just got hold of lists his father as Joseph Bosson whereas in the 1841 census he is shown living with James and Elizabeth Bosson. I had previously assumed they were his parents which tallies with the info you have. Do you have definite info about his birth? Thank you, Carol
