Hi I am looking to make contact with other Alton's from Derbyshire. My Grandfather was Owen James Alton bn 1919 at 55 New St Grassmor, his Father was Richard Alton bn 1880 who married Emily Insley, and Richards Father was James Alton who married Ann Cupit, they lived at 46 Hipper Street, Derby. If anyone believes they could be related please dont hesitate to get in touch. Since the death of my Father in 2006, (Ivor Robert Alton Bn 1948) I have no family around me and I would love to establish links to long lost relations.
