I am researching a WILLIAM BRUCE born 1826 STOCKTON DURHAM. I have been in touch with the records office and they said no birth, marriage or any certificates on him. Could any kind person look on parish records in STOCKTON to tell me who were his parents and sisters and brothers if any. He shows up on 1851 census with wife ELIZABETH and 1 son FREDRICK however he also shows up on 1841 census but not living with any BRUCES or ELIZABETH. Can anyone help? s.charlton4@ntlworld.com
