I have Pogsons in my family tree, they came from Ashby-by-Enderby. My great great grandmother was Elizabeth Swinn b.1786,through this line one of the daughters married a John Newton who was the father of my great grandmother Elizabeth Newton, who became a Mrs Thomas Warren Vallance, if this is of any help, please get in touch and I will give you more information
