Looking for any info on the family of JOHN GLENDINNING in the W.Allendale/Coal-Cleugh area of Nbl. John b@1834 married Ann, their children were: Alfred b@1871, EMMA RENWICK b@1873, Jane-Ann b@1875, JOHN-JOSEPH b@1877, Nicholas b@1880.There may be others.? John-Joseph fought at Klip Drift S.Africa and died 1902. The water fountain in Allendale town is dedicated to him. Emma Renwick left Allendale and married GEORGE W ARMSTRONG across in North Shields/Tynemouth. George`s father Matthew and mother Mary Barrow was also from Allendale. Any info gratefully received.
