My mother was born at Bury-on-the-Hill on March 19, 1922. Her parents were Charles Faulks and Ada Neal. Charles was born in Greetham on April 10, 1890. Charles had two brothers Harry and Walter and two sisters Fanny and Annie. Ada was born in Manton on May 21, 1891. Ada had five sisters Susan, Edith, Patricia, Elsie and Lillian. Charles' parents were Richard Faulks and Mary Brown. Adas' parents were Horace Neal and Ann(a) Brown. Anna died at age 50. Her father was a musician and was known as Fiddler Brown. My grandfather Charles and my great-grandfather Richard were both carpenters at Burly-on-the-Hill and worked for the Squire Finch. This all the information I have of my mothers' side of the family.
