Hello After some discussion with members of my family I decided to look into the origins of my surname SALT. My name is Nusi Salt (Tongan/English descent). My great grandfather Bertram John Salt emigrated from Staffordshire, England to Tonga (locn. South Pacific) and married my great grandmother. His parents were Charles Salt & Cecile (nee Hawthorne). If anyone knows has useful info. then I'll be glad to hear from you. ps - Keith your tips seem to be a good place to start my quest. cya Nusi
