I have just received a copy of the Entry of Marriage for Charles Henry JONES and Harriet Sarah Ann GARDNER. It gives the following information:

1917, Marriage solemnized at St. James Church in the Parish of Ashted in the county of Birmingham. No. 217.

Married May 19, 1917
Charles Henry JONES, age 21, Bachelor; occupation Engineer, residence 34 Forster St.; Father: Stephen William JONES, occupation Tube Worker.

Harriet Sarah Ann GARDNER, age 19, Spinster; occupation Capstan Operator, residence 34 Forster St.; father: John Gardner (deceased).

Married in the Church of S. James according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Established Church after Banns by me, Percy R. Pierce.

This marriage was solemnized between us, Charles Henry JONES and Harriet S. A. GARDNER in the presence of us, Roland TABBERER and Elizabeth R--HTON (partly illegible).
