Hello Joanne, Have just come across your Lund entry. My husband's Gt grandmother was Margaret Alderson who was the daughter of Betsy Lund. The 1851 census shows Betsy Alderson and her mother Betsy Lund age 75 living at Hutton House, Levens. Betsy sen's birthplace is given as Hornby, lancs and her daughter's as Carnforth. Margaret married James Strickland at Crosthwaite in 1837. Do we have a connection? Kath
