I'm a great, great, great, great grandson of John and Ann (Parrish) Berrington and am interested in finding out more information on their descendants. I know that John Berrington married Ann Parrish ( daughter of James & Abigail Parrish) from Cotton End on December 24, 1822. Ann (Parrish) Berrington was born on May 11, 1806 in Cotton End, and she lived her entire life (103 years) in Cardington, near Bedford, Bedfordshire. She had 10 children, one of which was my great, great, great grandfather, Joseph Parrish Berrington. He was born May 11, 1828, immigrated to the US (Cleveland,Ohio) in Dec. 1851 with his sister, Mary (Berrington) Thompson. Joseph Parish Berrington died on Jan. 16, 1916 in Ohio. Joseph's children were: Charles (my great great grandfather), Hattie (my great great grandmother-its a long story!), Sam, Jessie, John and Ella. I also know that Joseph Parrish Berrington and Mary (Berrington) Thompson had a brother named Charles that remained in England and a sister named Emma (Berrington) Thompson, but I don't know any of their other siblings' names. I am interested in locating any descendants of John and Ann (Parrish) Berrington and finding out more about the Cardington, Bedfordshire area and whether any Berrington descendants still live in the area because I would like to correspond with them and maybe plan a future visit to England. In addition, I also have genealogy info going back four generations to the early 1700's for John Berrington (who was married to Ann Parrish).
