I have traced back my Freeth ancestors to William Freeth of Rodbourne, Wiltshire. He and, I believe, brothers George and William were tenant farmers of the Hungerford Pollen estate in the mid 1880s. Dates I have from the 1861 census are: George Freeth, age 53, wife Caroline (Dowding) age 42 Richard Freeth, age 48, wife Mary Ann (Barnett) age 50 William Freeth, age 42, wife Lucy (Reynolds) age 42 Anyone with further information on them and their ancestors please let me know.
