In 1848, Abel STARR of Lawrence or Owen Co, Indiana died and left half of his estate to a Phillip Ikerd. Abel was unmarried and the remainder of his estate was split between his siblings. Could Phillip have been a child he fathered out of wedlock? Does anyone recognize this Phillip? -vicki
