I'm looking for information on the family of Herbert John Jinks of Australia (late 1800s-early 1900s). From what I've been told, he was born in Wales, came to Australia via England, worked in Queensland, and came to Victoria where he married Mary Agnes Murphy. I've also been told that he changed his name (from Jinks to Jenks?) as a result of a fight with his brother, so it appears that there was another branch of the family in Australia (probably Queensland).
