Hi Bill & hsccol We've just discovered that Grandma's maiden name was Oxman or Ochsmann, not Osman as we've always thought so I'm really excited to find your postings, especially Bill's. Grandma was Sarah Faigel Ochsmann, daughter of Avraham Mendel & Frieda Ochsmann. I believe he was a furrier and they lived in Starokonstantinoff in the Ukraine. Sarah was born in 1875, married very young (Nathan Bradman, earlier Brandman),came to the UK & had a large family. We know that her brother Wolf came to visit her here in 1903 to break the news that her mother had died. Sarah herself died in 1953.
