Sir Charles PERCY, bro. of Lord Northumberland, and Sir Richard PERCY of that ilk, commanded English troops in Ireland in 1601. Was one of them the ancestor of the PERCYs of Ballintemple, Kings Co. Ireland? Did Sir Charles (d. 1628) have an illegitimate son to whom he left property in Ireland? Does a copy of a will exist for either man? Or a grant of land in Ireland? Any information will be very welcome.
