There are many different places called Thrift Street, Thrift Lane, etc. Just for fun, let's list them, and if possible dig up the details about who (or what) they were each named after. Bonus points: Mozart's family lived on Thrift St. in London, but the name was later named to Frith St. Usually, in other examples of the names changing, it goes the other way, changing from Frith to Thrift.
