My cousin Elizabeth Waring Noble and myself are working on a major project compiling information on the South Carolina Warings. One thing that still stumps us is where and at what line did Benjamin Waring originate from. We have always been told England maybe Wolvinhampton or near there. He came to Charlestown, S.C. in 1683 with his wife Elizabeth one child and sixteen other persons and settled on the Ashley River on Kings Granted Land. If anyone has a clue or is a descendant we would like to hear from you.
