Bennett- Thanks for the reply, and I think I see what you mean. I may owe you a bit of an apology, I think. Looking back at my info in TMG, it shows family units connected in the tree view as well as family view. It just doesn't (quite properly I think) show a spouse in the person view and it's child and sibling windows. This goes to my recent posts about a marriage not being recorded when you simply add a spouse, and in retrospect I think this is the right way to record the "union". Children DO NOT seem to be a problem in either TMG or Legacy, either. In Legacy, the views all appear normal. I do however, have problems importing the Gedcom into php-gedview and TNG web programs. I'm not totally sure that it's anyone's program problem, but possibly not everyone in sync as to the Gedcom format fine points... but it's still currently a problem.
