Very good point ! If they enabled a method for easy media download then more people would be tempted away from Ancestry.com once they'd done the bulk of the census years. Clearly its a bigger buck winner than FTM. I hope a clever bod comes up with a neat fix one day. Until then its back to person 1 and start a fresh. Thats what I'm going to do. BUT with the caveat of keeping all my media and sources organised how I want and not to spend hours n hours pandering to the quirks of FTM (or Roots for that matter - different look same issues). Otherwise its the same trap. By the way spotted the FTM support guys link has been 'in maintenance' quite some time. Blimey if they can't handle a feedback system what hope of an air tight database. I wouldn't mind all this for Freeware. But I've given 'the company' an annual fee AND paid for 'not cheap' software. J
