Can anyone tell me whether or not the Missionary Baptist Church is the same, or different from, the Primitive Baptist Church? I'm seeking my great grandfather's parents. His name is James LeRoy Giles born 1863 in Texas. He was a Missionary Baptist preacher who preached in Arkansas, Texas & Oklahoma in the late 1800's.
