Hi Eddie. I ran across a posting you did back in 2000, I think, and am wondering if our Mannings are related. My GG-Grandfather was William Henry Manning, born in 1860 or 1865, in IA, son of Amos Manning (born in PA) and Martha Williams (born in Indiana). Do any of these names sound familiar? Shirley

I am searching the Manning Family that lived at Deep Creek, Columbia County, Florida in 1895. Her name is Henrietta French Manning. Born 20 Dec. 1855. Location unknown. Died 22 Feb. 1913, possibly burried in South Prong Cemetery, south of Sanderson in Baker County, Fl. beside her husband. Henrietta is the dtr of Jane Elizabeth Parrott & George Washington Manning. Henrietta md. Isaac Josiah Tucker 8 Sep 1881. Isaac was born 1860, location unk. & died 31 Aug 1915, & is burried in South Prong Cemetery south of Sanderson in Baker County. They lived in a log home on the banks of Deep Creek, in a Columbia County community called Palmetto. This was 11 miles from Lake City, Florida. They had 7 children between 1883 & 1897. In 1898, this Tucker family moved to Baker County, 7 miles south of Sanderson, Fl. Do you know anything re this Family?

Should you ever learn that your Manning's immigrated to Salem MA, please let me know. Margaret Manning was born around 1908-1909 or so, and had several sibblings. She was a classmate of and friend for life of my mother's.

I do have more information on the Manning family, but at the moment its not handy.

I do hope since posting the above message you have learned more about your Mannings.

Barbara
