My 3 x great Grandfarther was Abraham Punter born 1840 ,son of Abraham punter Born 1791 and Mother Elizabeth Cowper Born 1798

Abraham 1840 was
Married to a Maria Cross 1840 ..they moved from Flamstead Hertfordshire to Gresley in South Derbyshire.Where he was a miner ..then later in life they became A farming/mining family.
Have found most of them burried in the local cemetry..

They had a son called Joseph Punter who married Unice Moore..who had a son Henry who Married a Elizabeth Sutton, they had a son Called Frederick who married an Elizabeth Bradford(my Grandfarther and Grandmother) Anyone any Connection to this family ??

I have traced this family up to 1700 a william Punter and Mary carter..can not get any higher..can anyone help ??

Have lots of info about the Punter Family who Moved up North to become miners if anyone is intrested .

I have been revisiting the various postings about the Punters over the past year (for some unknown reason I missed several of them)

I have some clear links with other family trees eg Abraham Punter b 1840 was the younger brother of George b 1825 in my tree

Trying to fit in the Derbyshire mining link as yet eludes me but must be worth doing when I'll be laid in late November following a foot operation

They are all from the villge of castle Gresley Derbyshie.
