OOOPS

Sorry about that, I was looking at the death date which is 6 Oct. 1896. The birth date is listed as 6 Jan, 1815. As I say the dates are only as good as the person reporting them, and it wouldn't be the first time a birth preceded the marriage. Probably the informant would have been one his younger children who was just guessing.
