who joined 22nd light dragoons died in India, He may have married a Mary Ann before sailing for India. Believe his family may be Thomas Dickins and Zilpah Baldwin m 1781 Bucks

My maiden name was Dickens, I have a number of names and dates for Dickens' back to the 1600's, have not has yet got a full tree. My grandfather came from Newton Longville, in Bucks. and there are a great number of Dickens there and in Mursley. The same names keep running through, Charles, Thomas, David, Francis. Suggest your answer may be there. Are you a Dickens' I'm trying to find the decendents of my grandfather(Albert Francis), Amelia, Sarah, Kate, David and George.

Nice to hear from a Dickins/Dickens. My grandmothers mother was a Dickins. Helena AugustusVictoria orn in India. Her father was William also bornm in India 1814 and the one I'm after is his father Charles Dickins b 1787 Buckingham enlisted with 22nd light dragoons 1804 going to India where he served and died there. I have been trying for years to find his parents as they were not listed on his enlistment papers. Do you have anything on his. They are all suposedly related ie the Dickins in Bucks.
I have a few names I collected over the years of Dickins so if you let me know precisley who your looking for maybe I have it somewhere in my records. If you have come across my Charles be grateful for anything. My sister believes his father was Thomas who married Zilpah Baldwin 1760 in Buckingham.
