Hi have just come across your query. I'm researching
Willetts and
Hackett, both Black Country nail making families.Mine were based in Halesowen which isn't far from
Rowley Regis.I have a Phoebe
Nock, born 1858, daughter of Joseph and Maria. She was briefly married to John
Hackett who was a coal miner rather than a nail maker. They must have been married in the late 1870s but by 1881 John and their two children Thomas and Ann were living with his mother. In 1891 Phoebe ,now using the surname
Nock again is back living with her parents. One of those byways you get sidetracked down whilst investigating! Best Wishes HelenM
