Looking for info on Robert Atkins b 15 Dec 1869 in Grimsby.
Greetings from Canada!

In 1891 was resident of 55 Cunningham Road, Hammersmith, illegitimate son of Marion "Maria" Atkins.

Oral history has it that he was an accountant, King's Counsel, Barrister, and that there was some kind of scandal resulting in his death in Broadmoor.

Can some kind person help me out here?

Thanks
Caroline

I've had a look at the Berkshire Burial index but there is no-one of that name buried at Crowthorne (the parish where Broadmoor inmates were buried, one of mine who died 1912 was buried @ St John the Baptist, Crowthorne), though of course the family may have had him buried elsewhere.

Easthampstead, Berkshire is the registration district for Broadmoor should you ever find a death registration in the .
