John Jarmey was born around 1840 in England. He married an Ellen (Unknown) around 1863 in Reading, Berkshire. Their six children were christened at St. Mary's. Their names were John, Alfred, Frederick F., Sarah Jane, Ellen and Louis. My great grandfather came to Michigan in the United States and married a Canadian of the name Marie Phebe Josephine Hebert.
