There are loads of TILBROOKs, TILLBROOKs and TILBROOKEs noted in the Cambs. Baptism and Burial Indexes which cover 1801-1837, pub. by Cambs. FHS.

I have found reference to the Tilbrook Family in Cambridgeshire but I want to know more information, both within this county and any other, particularly London

I have
James Aves Tillbrook Gamekeeper b West Wratting Cambs married Lucy Ralwinson b Weston Colville Cambs 1829. Children Esther Annie Emily Frank Alice Kate Maurice John Alfred. Children born between 1856 and 1877. Last two were twins.
Esther Tillbrook b 1856 married Hophni Richardsonb 1853. Marriage 1885 Borough Green Cambs. Hophni was a butcher from Islington. His father was Frank Richardson.

Hophni Richardson was my Great Grandfather, My grandmother who is now 90 years of age was telling me all about him. There is a family rumour that he killed a man in a bare fist fight, but walked free from the court! If anyone could substanciate this I would love to hear from them!
