Looking for George Cooke possibly born Dec 1859 in Odd Rode Cheshire married Mary Elizabeth Hodginson in Wolstanton Staffordshire in 1880.
They had a daughter Ethel Cooke born c. 1866 Reg. Nantwich Cheshire. I believe they settled in Coppenhall Crewe, appreciate any help,
Thank you

Hello Pam,
Thanks for your reply. This is where I have my problem (I haven't sent for the marriage cert yet) Both of those say born in Coppenhall which I understand is Crewe or Nantwich. It says on the 1891 census born Odd Rode and in 1881 Hall Green both come under Congleton. In 1871 and 1861 it is Copenhall.

I think I will have to bite the bullet and order the marriage cert for George Cooke and Mary Eliza Hodgkinson in Sep 1880 at Wolstanton,
Thanks again

Hello again,
I have the marriage cert now. But it hasn't helped much. His father is another George deceased at the time of the marriage in 1880.
I can't think where else to search, any ideas?
