The death certificate won't give you his parents names anyway !!!

The marriage cert will name his father and possible Murphy witnesses.The birth cert will have both his parents names.

We may be able to find him on the 1911 census,do you know where in Cheshire he was born?

This seems to be the only Cheshire (Liverpool) birth in 1904.
