I am just looking for any information about the Fox family who owned Inglewood Estates (now the inglewood hotel and conference centre) on Badgers Rake Lane in Ledsham, Wirral. If anybody knows where I can get some background info on the family I would be very appreciative.

there is a foxes riding school in badgers rake lane ledsham my family worked and lived in that area til 1940s my grt grandad was a cowherdsman his wife told a tale of mr fox loosing his ear on her washing line when he raced through fox hunting in about 1920s she reportedly hid his ear under her wash basket :) not sure how true but a good tale
