MANLEY - Redruth marriages - Don't understand !

Looking for something else in my "shoebox" I cane across a copy of an Internet printout but am quite unable to locate it's origins or meaning. Can anyone help. please?

It is headed "1803" and "Redruth Marriages" then "57" which presumably is page 57. The entry which interests me is as follows, "John Manley & Elizth. Manley, sojourner. 26 Feb 1803".

John Manley appears in my Tree and he did mary an Elizabeth in 1803 but why does she have the same name (Manley) is it just a mistake? And what is the signifigance of her being styled as a "sojourner" (someone temporarily living in a place" ?
