I wonder if there is anybody who can provide information on Joseph Rowett Mellen of St Austell, Cornwall. Joseph R Mellen was the son of Joseph Mellen and Mary? Rowett. Joseph senior had a number of siblings, among them was Caroline James (nee Mellen) and her brother (perhaps a twin) Thomas Mellen, from St Austell. Their mother was Frances (Fanny) Mellen (nee Philips). Caroline and Thomas migrated to Australia. I wonder if perhaps Joseph Rowett Mellen in time did the same.
