Hi Lizz,
Thanks so much for the reply, it would be lovely to hear from you again in the near future. We live in W.Yorks now. My g grandfather - Toms' eldest child, was an artist (in his spare time) & quite musical, so they sound quite creative!
There's plenty of time to contact again, I've only been doing this family history lark fairly recently, since going on a career break!

Hi Russ , I would be extremely interested to see what you have on the Edmondson family tree. The tree that I have created has some lost branches and am at my wit's end. I have up to Thomas Clifton Edmondson born about 1814 and cannot trace any ancestors from that point back. He was married to Mary Woodend. He is listed as been born in Seedhall and Died in 1876.

Hi,

I'd love any info on your Jacksons:

Jackson: 1839-1881+; Whitehaven (CUL); Ulverston, Barrow

Mine seem to be from Ulverston, and I'm hitting a lot of brick walls.

Cheers,

Felicity

Hi Russ

I originally come from BiF and have Macmillan ancestors. I would be interested to see if we have any links.

My gggrandmother was Mary Ann Macmillan b 1843 Antrim. Married William Tyson 1863 at the Parish Church Barrow in Furness.
Her parents were William and Sarah Jane nee Quinn both born in Ireland. His occupation was Tailor on MAry JAnes wedding cer..I have the names of 5 other siblings and have found them in the census of 1861 living at High Bentham. I think they moved over fron Ireland in the 1850's.

Any connections?

Many thanks
