I have a Thomas Mitchelhill, B: abt 1875, Carlisle. His parents were Thomas Mitchelhill, B: abt 1852, Carlisle and Nancy Blair, B: abt 1853, Carlisle.

I also have a Thomas James Mitchelhill, B: abt 1872, Carlisle and died abt 1872, Carlisle. His parents were James Mitchelhill, B: 20 Feb 1843, Longtown and Elizabeth Graham, B: abt 1848, Longtown.

I also have a Thomas Mitchelhill, B: abt 1879, Carlisle. His parents were James Mitchelhill, B: 20 Feb 1843, Longtown and Elizabeth Graham, B: abt 1848, Longtown.

If you narrow down which Thomas Mitchelhill is yours I would be interested to know.

You wouldn't happen to know who your Thomas's married would you? Or is that the next step for you?

There is a picture of my Thomas in a museum in Workington which I'm collecting soon and am hoping it has the year it was taken (he won the Uppies and Downies a sport played in Workington) which will help me out. I think it's the 1875 Thomas as he was married around 1897 and I assumed the usual age of 20's as age.
