I'm looking for ancestors of David Kennedy, born 1811 in Bewcastle. He married Margaret Armstrong, b. 1809 in Scotland to William Armstrong and Jane Scott. David and Margaret lived in Bewcastle in 1841, according to census. They had several children while living there: Jean/Jane, b. 1838; Mary, b. 1841, and Catherine, b. 1843. They emigrated to Canada in 1844 or so and lived in Middlesex County in McGillivray Township.

Any connections will be helpful.

I have quite a lot of Kennedy & Armstrong of around that time from Bewcastle - some David's but none of those have have a c1811 birthdate.

How do you know he came from Bewcastle ?? Do you have any of his siblings info which might help in pinning hime down?
