Looking for information about the Greaves/Graves family. My ancestor was Thomas Greaves, born about 1650. It is believed the family was originally from Derby County England. They were Quakers and moved to Ireland in the 1600's. Thomas later came to America with his wife, Sarah Whitsett, and four children.

My ancestor Thomas Greave(s) born abt.1650. Went to
Ireland. family went to America. There were 3 boys and
a girl. Samuel, born 1666 married a Sarah Bezer from
Wiltshire. They were both quakers. They settled in
Deleware with Wm. Penn and married into the Chandler
family, also from Wiltshire (namely Swithin)
