Looking for more info on:

John Collier(Glossop) m.(19Feb 1770)Mary Handford(Stockport)

Robert Collier(Glossop) m.(21 Oct 1776)Peggy Brocklehurst (Glossop)
There also are a Ruth Collier(m.1777), Aaron Collier (m. 1784), Thomas Collier(m.1788), Nancy Collier (m.1800), Jonas Collier (m.1804), John Collier(m.1804)Are these members of one family? Would like to know dates of birth, deaths, parent's names, birth and death dates. Also would like a list of children of each marriage, especially John's and Robert's. Would the 1804 marriage of John be his second, first being the one in 1770?
Any help greatly appreciated. Have data on John Collier(1788-1850)ENG>NB CAN c.1810 to share if anyone is looking for him.

I cannot help you directly but I have Ann COLLIER born c1753 who married in 1775 and died in 1775 and Betty COLLIER born 1787 died 1862 (if they fit into your family I would be interested to know); from the census I know that Ann was born at Chinley.

I checked the IGI for Chinley Independent (batch number C079461) for just the surname COLLIER and a few possibilities came up, a couple of children have Brocklehurst as a middle name too.

Sorry to say I have not been able to tie "my John Collier" to the one in Glossop......I'm afraid he will forever remain my mystery man and my highest brick wall.
