I am looking for information on one Harry Winston who came to the British Colony of Dominica about the late 1800's to early 1900's. He was a Magistrate on that island.

i am from dominica, the the oldest relative of the winston's that i know was my grandfather who was also a magistrate named angelo winston. i know quite a few uncles and aunts both in dominica and in the us. if there is any other information that you find please inform me. I hope to hear from you as i am interested in learning about this family also.

Angelo was my mums' father I met him for the first time back in 1985, on my first visit to Dominica.I remeber hanging out with my mums' brother who at the time was a teacher and drove an ambulance for the hospital aswell...can't remember his name.

My mother also had a brother who ran a gas/petrol business
who i also remember meeting.

I remember visiting my grand father in Goodwill.

I live in the UK- do you know where Angelo's parents where from before they came to dominica?

What a thing! Angelo was also my grandfather. My mom is Valerie.

He was a wonderful grandfather, full of fun,a man who enjoyed life to the max!!! He had many children.

With us his grandchildren who lived close by, he was attentive and a good friend. He loved to eat good natural food, to exercise, to smoke, to drink (ti punche), to tell stories.

He had two other brothers (Sparrow and Gerard), both deceased now.

I have attached a picture of the house where he grew up and in which cousins now live.
