I would be very interested to hear from anyone who has links with the CAKE/STANDFIELD/DANNEL (DANIELS) families of Tolpuddle (and surrounding areas). My 6x ggrandfather was James CAKE b1743 in Tolpuddle his parents being John CAKE and Elizabeth DANNEL (DANIELS). I have no idea where John was born but I think he could possibly link into the Winfrith Newburgh CAKES. Elizabeth's parents I believe were John DANNEL/DANIELS (b1694 Tolpuddle) & Ruth STANDFIELD (b1698 Tolpuddle). James CAKE also married a STANDFIELD ie Sarah STANDFIELD (b1737) and I believe her parents were Robert STANDFIELD & Ann. Thanks Sharon
