James William Sherwood born 1813 Walthamstow, Essex. Can anyone suggest where I might find more information regarding James' parents. All online searches don't take me back far enough. I can`t find any christening records (online). His marriage certificate doesn`t have a fathers name on it. I have got his birth year & location from census records. Will there be parish records somewhere? If so, where could I find them. Any information would be most welcome, as I can`t seem to go any further without more info.
