If you go to http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~hughwallis... and look at the batches of data extracted from Bristol parishes' records you will appreciate the task more and who knows, in one of the batches you may find your answer.
However, the Hugh Wallis site has not been updated for some time and here are a few batches that are not included there :-
C172731 Emmanuels, Bristol
C170781 Bristol
C172801 Bristol
C024930 St Barnabas Bristol
C023812 Moorfields
M172743 Holy Trinity Bristol
C016835 Bristol
C014101 Clifton
M150804 St George Bristol
C172954 Temple Bristol
C030901 St George Bristol
C batches are christenings and M marriages.
Never trust IGI information if it is for "submitted" data.
Not all parish records have had their data extracted even though the LDS may have filmed the registers. At http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/FindingBatchNos.html you may find more missing batches or info concerning parish films which you can check in the LDS library.
Good hunting.
