Hope you get a copy of the indent and find that I have managed to match her.
Here is what I have found for you.
Mary Hill born in 1818 baptised 22.03.1818 St James church.
On the record parents John and Sarah Hill living in St Paul's (a district of Bristol) and John Hill was a Jeweller.(the only record I can find for a Mary Hill born that year.) I don't find any other children born to John and Sarah.
1834 found guilty of stealing, three months Lawford's Gate.
1835 found guilty of stealing, 7 years transportation.
On the 1841 census John Hill and Sarah were still living in St Pauls but Mary died first between 1842 and 1849 (there being 4 Sarah Hills dying in this period. John Hill was still alive in 1851 but at this moment in time unable to find his death date..
John Hill was baptised 05.05.1793 when he was two years old in St James Church.
John Hill and Sarah Say married 29.08.1809 in St James church.
John Hill's parents were Joseph and Hannah.
Mary Hill was a kitchen maid prior to being transported
There are records of Mary Hill to be found in the National Record Office in Kew, London which were held by the Home Office probably about the transportation. When we go to London we will look these up and send you the details.
I hope I have been of some help to you and if you require anymore help do not hesitate to ask you have my email address, if I do find anything else I will send it to you.
To finish I would love to know where you come from.
