Here is a transcribed version of the Court appearances of Mary Hill.

Summer Assizes 1834
Date: 2nd June 1834
Record 63:
Mary Hill aged 16 in the parish of St Peters Bristol
Accomplices:
Caroline Hill aged 18 of St Philips & St Jacobs and Mary Tripp aged 18 of Combsbury Somerset.
Committed by H W Newman Esq
Crime:
Charged on the oath of Miles Kingstone of the parish of St Philip and Jacob - Cargoman, with having at the parish aforesaid on the twelth day of May last feloniously assaulted this Miles Kingstone and stole from his person a canvas bag containing fifteen or sixteen shilling his property.
Marks and Stature etc:
Sandy hair, hazel eyes, fresh complexion, long face, cannot read or write, labourer, height 4feet 11 1/2 inches
When tried and event of time:
Trinity Sessions July 1st 1834 to Three calender months at Lawford Gate. (A gaol in Bristol)
When discharged:
11th July 1834
How behaved:
Indifferent

Monday 12th January 1835
Accused:
William Cunningham and Mary Hill
Crime:
For feloniously stealing the goods of James Merrett above the value of £5 in his dwelling house.
Sentence:
Ordered to be severally transported for 7 years.
Confessed:
Pleaded Guilty of stealing under the value of £5.

Have found on the 1841 census that John and Sarah Hill both born in Bristol about 1891, were both alive, but to confuse the issue there is also a Mary Hill born about 1819 living with them but she was not born in Bristol but London, could just be a coincidence I hope. I will be continuing after the week end and hope to have more for you then.
