I haven't found the marriage for son John although I know he was the father of Ethel Daisy Denning b1896, my husband's grandmother, (from her marriage certificate) and that John's wife was Mary Jane Browning (from Ethel's birth certificate). Where did you find the information that makes you believe that they married without naming the father? I believe Emma died in 1895 but have only been given this information by someone else and have not substantiated it myself. I've hit a lot of brick walls with the Dennings as far as certificates are concerned... so any new sources are brilliant!
