Noname,

You really need to obtain a birth certificate of one of Thomas's children the GRO references of which can be found at http://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl

Google for GRO: certs can be bought on line for £7 each.

Whenever you find or are given information you must always make a record of where it was found for future reference and verification purposes.

If you haven't already been there, you should go to http://www.genuki.org.uk/gs/ where there is more help, advice and links than you will find in any book.

Regards

O

O, Thanks for the info but although a complete novice at this, I have been steered in the right direction already and am awaiting my first batch of Certificates from the GRO in UK. However all tips and advice are welcome and links like this have already proved positive and useful.

Regards, Peter.
