Surnames: MIDWINTER, HEMMING
I have a Frances MIDWINTER bap 1724 in Burford, Oxon. She married Joseph HEMMING in Chipping Campden in 1753 and was eventually buried in Great Rissington, Glos. in 1791.
Her father was William MIDWINTER and had six children baptised in Burford. Three died in infancy but Frances, Grace & Lydia survived. The places mentioned are not far from Northleach. William's wife is thought to be buried in Northleach.
