There are a lot of BENCE families located in and around Marshfield, in Gloucestershire. My paternal 3 x Gt Grandmother was Sarah BENCE who married Thomas WRIGHT on 30 Apr 1800 at Marshfield, Glos. Sarah was Christened on
27 Oct 1775 at Marshfield, Glos. Sarah was the daughter of
William BENCE and Rebecca WOODHAM, who were married at
Marshfield, Glos on 24 Oct 1761.
