lOOKING FOR Edwin Jenkins, daughter Emily born 1859c married William Evesham at Tupsley Parish Church in August 1879, have searched the 1871 Census but could not see them, any help appreciated.

sorry but I cannot find a tie in with a Edwin - on the 1861 census there are 3 Emily:

(1) abt 1857 Much Birch, Herefordshire - Granddaughter in Much Birch with James & Mary Jenkins

(2) abt 1860 Peterchurch, Herefordshire Granddaughter in Peterchurch - Thomas & Mary

(3) abt 1861 Tupsley, Herefordshire - Daughter in Tupsley - John, Meline Frances

in 1871

(1) abt 1859 Herefordshire Niece in Michaelchurch Eskley with the Howard family

Nos 2 & 3 same

shame, as I can find her on the others when married

If you obtain the certificate it will also show mums maiden name & an occupation for dad at that time (all helps to tie in) + if you actually state that the fathers name should be .... and, it is not, then you only get charged £3 instead of the normal £7
